The Mayor’s Office Deserve Some Respect.

Definitely I’m not UDP but Rohey M. Lowe deserve some respect as the mayor of Banjul. I think she trying, the ministry of works is trying to politicize the Banjul projects and give all the credits to President Barrow. President Barrow is just a disappointment,he wants to use the Banjul projects as a political tool. No one can fool Gambians,we know what’s happening. How can one sign a project document for Banjul without the knowledge of BCC? I am not surprised with the actions of the works minister because he wants to stay inside the bus.. At least she is an elected mayor with over whelming majority, Barrow is a coalition President but he got only 43℅ which means he’s ruling by minority. This is very unfortunate, instead of our leaders serving us they are busy politicizing our projects just to entrench themselves in power. The mayors office deserves some respect.Even if the project is central government, what is stopping the minister from informing the mayor’s office? In fact what is even more worrying is that this said project was not tendered, the contractor was hand-picked. No doubt Barrows government wouldn’t escape another commission of enquiry. Is this the change we voted for? This really saddened me.
