Uncle OJ Please Forgive Captain Bah,He was under the influence of a tyrant dictator.

I almost shed tears when this guy was giving his evidence at the trrc.He is very humble and professional. You can see how deadly a dictatorial government can be. This captain Bah is an explosive expert was asked to plant an explosive at crowded areas and blame it on the coalition government. If Bah acted on the orders of Saul Badge that could have been very detrimental and change the whole situation but Bah was a true professional soldier who loves his country.
So far I considered him as one of the most truthful witness. This people were operating under a tyrant dictator and their life was between life and death. Captain Bah is a professional soldier . This guy is a brave soldier despite all efforts to eliminate him during the impasse fails. He is the first witness to confess torturing former agricultural minister OJ Jallow under duress from top generals. He in his twenties when he was ordered by Jammehs jugglers to torture uncle OJ. I know there is no justification for whatever reason to torture an elderly state man like OJ who have served his country with deligent under various capacities.Infact OJ hasn’t done anything to warrant such humiliation. I know it’s difficult to forget but Im sure uncle OJ will forgive considering the heartbreaking and truthful testimonies he has given. My only worries about the trrc is whether the president will act accordingly on the recommendation of the commission on the best interest of the country and the victims. We have all seen how the recommendation of the Faraba Commission and the Janneh commission has been politicised. Certainly Gambians particularly the soldiers will learn lessons. I’m urging the witnesses to be truthful and report as it happens. Nothing less nothing more.
