Nigerian military staff sergeant age forty-six died of abnormal breathing whiles sleeping, he was rushed to Edward Francis Small Teach ing Hospital in Banjul for proper medication.
Abubakar Abdullahi was part of the ECOMIG mission in the Gambia, he died a natural death on 6th July 2018. The absent staff sergeant was part of the Nigerian soldiers on a noble military operation, the funeral service will take place in his native country Nigerian.

The tactical Nigerian army on ECOMIG mission in the Gambia are professional and well disciplined, they are gallant soldiers who risked their lives to rescue the lives of 1.8 million Gambians as a way forward to restore democracy as a rule of law in the Gambia.

However, the ECOMIG mission in the Gambia comprising of five hundred soldiers from Senegal, Nigeria, and Ghana is one of the most successful military operations in peacekeeping mission throughout the world.
