A head of state should listen to the concerned of its citizens so thank you, M.r President, and we will like to see justice done soon proud to be under ur command in one way or the other#LongLiveTheGambia# – Jamar Camara

President Barrow made a national address about the scandalous of Faraba Banta, is less than 5 minute, and he’s not saying anything that I can take as a serious, it clear told me that this administration is responsible for the unbearable stench of crimes against humanity in Faraba Bantan, It’s time, far past time, for them to be held responsible.

I will rather blame the commander on the ground who ordered the shooting according to sources because in the first place even were as the president ordered them to do so they have no right to commit homicide in a Democratic state and if at all they were over come by their viral they would have called for reenforcement from their command or they tactically withdrew to avoid the killing and in fact using firearms in a hostile riot or demonstration can be necessary at times but not by killing but to disabled i.e below the knee so I therefore returned all the blame to their commander on the ground as a comrade may the Almighty Allah gives us the heart of unity under his control Insha Allahu Ameen – Kebba Muhammadu Saidu Jallow

Both IG of the Police and Minister of Interior who is President Adama Barrow’s Brother-in-law have to go! Nepotism and incompetency – Abdoukarim Sanneh

Good Order and Discipline is a prerequisite for a professional security outfit. Denials or not, the ultimate responsibility lies with the commander in chief of the Armed and security forces. If anyone within the top echelon of leadership is denying knowledge of where the orders to shoot and kill our fellow citizens came from, they are indeed treasonous, to say the least.
When those charged with ensuring security for all cannot tell us who gave the orders, this is telling and scary because it points to a security force that is ROGUE and has ABSOLUTELY no regard to the chain of command.
We cannot and will not accept flimsy childish excuses like these coming from people we entrust with weapons of war pointed to our citizenry. Shame on you Adama Barrow and your so-called parasitic advisers who have nothing positive to offer the Gambia.
We did not waste precious resources and time to fight a dictatorship in one form just for another to surface with its ugly head.
We will handle and deal with any resemblance of returning to the old ways in the same manner the last regime was dealt with….. in fact in a more ruthless manner.
DECENT LEADERS WILL DO THE RIGHT THING IN NATIONAL INCIDENCES LIKE THESE. HOPEFULLY YOU AND YOUR ADVISERS KNOW WHAT THE RIGHT THING IS. – Tamsir Jobe

LOOK! Hence Adama Barrow has no idea of what it means to be a president; let him resign to safeguard his integrity, Period! – Kyheyeentte TheFuture

Let’s be clear – the Faraba tragedy happened because of 22 years of dictatorship, not 18 months of rehabilitation. Our focus needs to be reforms, reforms, reforms. Forward ever, backward never.

what constitutes a peaceful Protest? Can it be said that In a situation were sixteen police officers sustained injuries, two caterpillars and five trucks vandalized and set on fire? The police guard post burnt down and four compounds set ablaze while three vandalized amounts to a peaceful protest? What amounts to a police brutality? Important issues to determine. I sympathize with the victims of #Faraba
