As The Gambia stands at the crossroads of injustice, I hope that the Barrow government will stand behind efforts to hold those who committed crimes against humanity will be accountable including the killers of Haruna Jatta of Kanilai and the killers of Ismaila Bah and Bakary Kujabi of Faraba Banta.
What is good for the goose is good for the gander. It is good to reflect about the past and pull the record that Mr. Saihou Mballow of New York City was the only Diaspora activist who came in the open and condemned the government plus demanded an investigation into the killing of Haruna Jatta. He made that decision regardless that he was exiled by the APRC government for years.
The new Gambia needs people like Mballow who has respect for human rights regardless of political party affiliation or who is involved.
