Gambia: ‘Three Years Jotna’ is no panicky situation- Hamat Bah

Hamat Bah, the minister of Tourism and Culture in the Barrow government has stated that they are not panicky about operation ‘Three Years ‘Jotna.’

“We are not panic about Three Years ‘Jotna’. We are not worry about that. We remain solid and firm on the ground. We will maintain security and protect Gambians at every level in this country. President Barrow will not fail on his responsibility to protect and preserve the integrity of this country and that nobody is above the law,” he warned.

Hamat Bah, who is also the leader of National Reconciliation Party (NRP) said: “Barrow will remain Gambia’s president until 2021 and that nobody can remove him because that is the constitution.”

Interior Minister Ebrima Mballow, confirmed that the government has brought in water cannon trucks. “There are speculations that the government brought riot gears and armoured tankers. That is not true. What we brought in is water cannon trucks. It will spray hot water on anyone who resorts to rudeness,” he said, adding that the Gambia Immigration Department will also start issuing ID Cards in Brikama soon.
