Simply put, VP Fatoumata Tambajang was sacked. Redeployment to foreign service is a familiar language in the State house to temper emotions any time it let go of a high profile member of the government.
CDS Badgie, Mai Ahmed Fatty and now Mrs. Tambajang have been redeployed to foreign service. Yet, they remain at home and the rest is all forgotten.

For Barrow to sack Mrs. Tambajang must have been a very compelling reason. Could it be Faraba incident related that Barrow vowed to get to the bottom of things? After all, Barrow resisted both internal and external pressures to keep the Vice Presidency vacant and preserved for none but Mrs. Tambajang. The government fast-tracked a legislation through the National Assembly to remove age restrictions that stood in the way for Mrs. Tambajang’s appointment as the substantive VP.
Before we jump to conclusion” we need some intellectual brainstorming on events. Best of luck to our President.
