GAMBIA: FATU CAMARA JABS ADAMA BARROW OVER ADOPTING JAMMEH STYLE PERSONALITY CULT

By: Fatu Camara,

Mr President, what is the signifance of your new billboards, are they specifically for your nationwide tour or you going Jammeh on us?

Please President Barrow, Gambians talked about this after Jammeh’s exit. We are tired, we are traumatized, we do not want to fight again, we thought you understand and that you will never take us back to the Jammeh days. Why are you doing this to us?

Check with your brother, President Macky SALL..He had to tell Government departments to stop putting his pictures on billboards sometime last year after many Senegalese spoke against having his pictures all over the city.

Another issue here is the personalization of national development projects. This is very unfair to Gambians, I am disappointed!

Basiru Sawaneh F, please I want you to start interviewing GANU PARTY leader, Hon. Sheikh Tijan Hydara.
We struggled very hard for changed, and finally removed Jammeh ending his 22yrs tyrannical rule.
I saw something that I’m not happy with the present administration.

I am totally disappointed like other comrades who struggled so hard, so tirelessly including you to remove Jammeh.
That’s all I have to say.
Thank you.

Bakary Manneh There’s isn’t a need for it, so as the movement…what would be their significance in the whole development process…are they going to help carry blocks to project sites, dig trenches for laying pipes…Will they be paid for their time…who will pay them? But hey, come 2021…we’ll have the chance to decide again.

Momodou Sawaneh This is very true statement Fatu Camara. GAMBIANS have decided no to billboards of a president. Personalizing NDP isn’t good idea. We can’t forget what the goals and objectives are. Let’s prioritize them.
