Soon after news of murder and bloodshed reached APRC Bureau yesterday, the APRC Party Leader, Fabakary Tombong Jatta, and his executive visited affected families and individuals who were involved in the incidents yesterday. In the current situation of a leadership vacuum in The Gambia, villagers were appreciative of the leadership shown by APRC Leaders who managed to calm the situation down as well as console families of the deceased and injured at the same time.

Protests against environmental degradation aren’t an immediate life and death situation. Why give Security Forces guns, bullets and order to shoot and kill harmless civilians?
Gambia faces a huge leader leadership problem.
